Merry Christmas!

We are exactly 20 weeks today!  I am so thankful for our healthy baby girl.  I wish Eli could be here with us.  Sometimes the holidays are the hardest times.  He would of been 8 months old this month.  Miss you sweet angel!

19 Week Update

So, we are now 19 weeks along.  Heartbeat has been great and I'm feeling lots of movement from our little peanut.  Also, most of my morning sickness (or should I say all day sickness) is gone and I have had such an increase in energy!  It's so nice to feel like doing things around the house again!  Nick and I have gotten a little bit ahead of ourselves and we ordered furniture for the nursery last weekend from Babies R Us.  I am so excited!  It is beautiful!  We also emptied out the nursery and got it all ready for painting.  I started painting our accent pink wall today!  I love the color too.  It's very light, but it is going to look beautiful!

Here is the furniture we picked out....
Our furniture is a little darker than in this picture.  We ordered the crib, dresser/changing table combo, and the armoire showed in this picture.  We are picking up the crib and dresser on Monday, so that is why I am trying to get the room painted before then.

Two more weeks until our next ultrasound.  I hope I make it until then!  I just hope she is doing good in there!  :)

We are still thinking of names...  It is so hard to agree on one!  So far we are thinking Kailynn, Hayden or Adalynn.  This is going to be very difficult!!

Anatomy Ultrasound

On December 2nd we went to Maternal Fetal Medicine for the baby's anatomy ultrasound. We were so nervous because this was the appointment that went wrong last time. We have been trying to stay positive, but you always have these doubts in the back of your mind. You just want your baby to be healthy. All I wanted to hear was everything looks great! The ultrasound tech took us back into the ultrasound room to start the exam, and as soon as she started I was so relieved! The picture was so clear it was amazing! I knew there was lots of amniotic fluid! I knew our baby had healthy kidneys! They said that everything looks great so far and we are having a little girl! I am still in shock! I cannot believe this is actually happening. I feel like having a girl after losing Eli is the perfect blessing. Eli will always have a special place in our family and I feel like having a girl now will only make his place as our first boy that much stronger. I know he is looking down on her from heaven as a big brother!  Enjoy the ultrasound pictures! :)

Ultrasound Pictures :)

Well, on September 22nd I was diagnosed with a Small Subchorionic Hemorrhage which my physicians were a little concerned about since I have a blood clotting disorder and I am taking blood thinners. However, the good news is a week later it was much smaller and it is now completely gone! My specialist still wants to keep an eye on it, but it looks like everything is going perfectly so far! My big anatomy ultrasound will be on December 2nd, which is a HUGE milestone for us! We should also find out the sex this day as long as the little peanut cooperates :)
